Computer technology is the activity of designing, constructing, and programming computers. Computer technology directly correlates with information technology. Computer technology encompasses a developing list of different software programs and devices. Computer technology is also a very popular degree program offered by many colleges; this degree program tends to focus on learning current operating systems, hardware/software training and computer repair.
Anyone age 16 or older may enroll in a short-term class on a first-come, first-served basis. Certain regulations may apply. Enrollment is taken by the Adult Education/ACD staff Monday through Thursday from 8AM-9:30PM.
Excel Level 1
Basic concepts include: Create a worksheet and a chart; Formulas, Functions, and Formatting; Add conditional formatting to cells; Work with Large Worksheets, Charting, and What-If Analysis; Create a series of month names; Use absolute and mixed cell references in a formula; Use the IF function to perform a logical test; and Create and format sparkline charts.
Excel Level 2
Advanced concepts include: Work with Multiple Worksheets and Workbooks; Add data to multiple worksheets at the same time; Create formulas that use 3-D cell references; Add a rotated pie chart with an exploded wedge; Consolidate data by linking workbooks; Create, Sort, and Query a Table; Use the VLOOKUP function to look up a value in a table; Use icon sets with conditional formatting; Create criteria and extract ranges; Apply database functions, such as SUMIF and COUNTIF; Use the MATCH and INDEX functions to look up a value in a table; Work with Trendlines, PivotTable Reports, PivotChart Reports, and Slicers and much more.

Windows 10 Intermediate
Meet Cortana, your Microsoft personal assistant, designed to help you get more done and make your life easier. Begin with the new start menu which blends Windows 7 and 8 for maximum comfort. Other topics include file management, working with apps, and windows programs used on a frequent basis in the home or office setting.
Word Level 1
Some topics include: Create, Format, and Edit a Word Document with a Picture; Create a Business Letter with a Letterhead and Table; Create a Document with a Title Page, Lists, Tables, and a Watermark; Insert and format a clip art image; Insert and format a SmartArt graphic; and Insert formatted headers and footers.
